In this role, you will be the bridge between raw data and actionable business insights. Working on our Weekend Shift, you will play a critical role in maintaining data integrity and optimizing our reporting pipelines while the primary team focuses on core development.
Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large datasets from various sources using SQL and Python.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI.
- Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in complex data to drive strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across all reporting systems.
- Create comprehensive documentation for data models and analytical processes.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and scripting languages like Python or R.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Deep understanding of statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends as required by the shift pattern.
