Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Mining: Execute complex SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, clean, and validate large datasets from multiple sources.
- Dashboard Creation: Design and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau and PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
- Performance Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly reports that provide actionable insights to the executive team and product managers.
- Process Optimization: Identify data inconsistencies and inefficiencies within our weekend workflows, proposing and implementing solutions to improve data quality.
- Collaborative Analysis: Partner with engineering and product teams to define data requirements and troubleshoot complex analytical problems.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical methods to forecast trends and support business planning initiatives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command of SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with ETL processes.
- Visualization: Expert knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, or similar data visualization tools.
- Programming: Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
- Availability: Must be available to work the Weekend Shift (e.g., Saturday/Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into simple insights.
