Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct in-depth quantitative analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that influence business decisions.
- Visualization & Reporting: Design and develop interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to communicate findings effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting needs.
- Forecasting: Build predictive models to anticipate market trends and support strategic planning.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current data workflows and propose automation solutions to improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for database querying; experience with Python or R for data manipulation is highly desired.
- Tool Proficiency: Strong command of Excel (advanced functions) and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and derive meaningful conclusions.
