Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and define success metrics.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex data models and ETL pipelines to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
- Create interactive, user-friendly dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI to communicate findings to executive stakeholders.
- Perform deep exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various relational and non-relational sources.
- Conduct A/B testing and statistical analysis to support product decisions and feature rollouts.
- Document data lineage and provide mentorship to junior analysts on best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the tech, finance, or SaaS industry.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) or cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, AWS Redshift) is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
