Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and database models to support business reporting.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Product) to define data requirements and solve complex business problems.
- Perform statistical analysis to validate hypotheses and forecast business outcomes.
- Document data processes and methodologies to ensure data governance and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift).
- Expert knowledge of Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into business insights for non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in the Sacramento tech industry is a plus.
