We are looking for a driven and analytical Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Sacramento, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting complex data sets to help our business stakeholders make informed decisions. Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and ETL processes using Python and R.
- Create interactive and visual dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to track KPIs and performance metrics.
- Perform deep-dive statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Operations, Finance) to define data requirements and reporting needs.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to executive leadership in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in Data Analysis or Business Intelligence.
- Expert proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with NoSQL databases.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Advanced knowledge of data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or Power BI.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into business value.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
