Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex SQL queries and ETL pipelines to extract, clean, and integrate data from diverse sources including SQL databases, APIs, and spreadsheets.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends to executive stakeholders.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify market trends, forecast outcomes, and support A/B testing initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, project managers, and subject matter experts to define data requirements and ensure analytical accuracy.
- Maintain data governance standards, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA).
- Document methodologies, code, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility of results.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or T-SQL) with the ability to write complex queries and stored procedures.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable business recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in a remote-first environment and utilizing collaboration tools (Slack, Jira, Zoom).
