Job Description

Join the Apex Analytics Group and Drive Strategic Decision-Making from Anywhere.

We are looking for a results-oriented Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Denver, CO. While we are a company rooted in the heart of Colorado, we are offering a fully remote opportunity for the right candidate. You will play a pivotal role in deciphering complex datasets, creating actionable insights, and empowering our stakeholders to make data-driven decisions that shape our future.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical data science and business strategy, ensuring our data infrastructure is robust, our reporting is accurate, and our insights are impactful. If you are passionate about clean data, modern visualization tools, and working with a collaborative remote team, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Extract & Transform Data: Gather, clean, and manipulate large datasets from various sources using SQL, Python, and ETL tools to ensure data integrity.
  • Visualize Insights: Design and develop interactive dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker) that provide real-time visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
  • Statistical Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within the data.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to understand their data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
  • Report Generation: Automate the generation of regular reports and presentations for executive leadership, translating complex data into clear, concise narratives.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize data collection processes and improve data governance standards across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Experience: 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy) for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Visualization: Expert level experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
  • Tools: Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery) is a plus.
