Responsibilities
- Extract, Clean, and Transform Data: Utilize SQL and Python to mine large datasets, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for analysis.
- Develop Dashboards: Design and maintain interactive visualizations in Tableau or PowerBI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify business trends, forecast future performance, and uncover new revenue opportunities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Operations) to translate data findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current reporting processes and implement automated solutions to improve team productivity.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in Data Analysis, preferably within a remote or hybrid work setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI).
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ETL processes.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders in both written and verbal formats.
- Location: Must be based in the United States with a preference for Dallas, TX or Florida residents.
