The Role
In this full-time position, you will be the bridge between our raw data and our strategic decision-makers. You will own our data pipelines, visualize complex datasets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize our product offerings. Responsibilities
- Data Strategy & Modeling: Design and maintain robust data models to support business intelligence initiatives and ensure data integrity across all departments.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create intuitive, high-performance dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- SQL & ETL: Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform deep-dive statistical analysis and A/B testing to validate hypotheses and drive product improvements.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineering and product teams to translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current data workflows and propose innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role within a tech environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and experience with Python or R for data manipulation.
- Tools: Strong command of visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI) and Excel (advanced functions).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Remote Work: Must be self-motivated, disciplined, and have a reliable high-speed internet connection.
