Responsibilities
- Data Extraction & Modeling: Design and implement complex SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, clean, and model large-scale datasets for analysis.
- Visualization: Develop interactive, high-impact dashboards using Tableau and PowerBI to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic Reporting: Create regular performance reports and KPI tracking systems that guide executive leadership in strategic planning.
- Process Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current data pipelines and propose automated solutions to improve data quality and speed.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and ensure data integrity across the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis or data science roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), and data visualization tools.
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of ETL processes and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake or AWS Redshift).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into business value.
