Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large datasets to ensure high-quality input for analysis models.
- Develop complex SQL queries and scripts to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform advanced statistical analysis to identify market trends, customer behaviors, and operational inefficiencies.
- Communicate findings and actionable insights to stakeholders through clear presentations and written reports.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to define data requirements and improve data architecture.
- Automate reporting processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual data entry errors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 3+ years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and Python/R for data manipulation.
- Strong experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to relocate to Raleigh, NC or work remotely from Virginia.
