Responsibilities
- Lead Data Analysis: Design and execute complex SQL queries and data models to extract insights from large, disparate datasets.
- Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain interactive visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) in real-time.
- Night Shift Operations: Support 24/7 reporting cycles by analyzing incoming data streams and generating reports during the night shift.
- Relocation Support: Assist in the transition for new hires, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience regarding logistics and documentation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate technical findings into clear, concise business recommendations for executive leadership and operational teams.
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement data cleaning and validation protocols to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all analytical outputs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Python (Pandas/NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau/PowerBI).
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Relocation: Must be eligible for or willing to accept relocation assistance to the San Diego, CA area.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
