We are looking for a talented and analytical Senior Data Analyst to join our growing team in Minneapolis. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, interpreting, and presenting complex data sets to stakeholders, helping to drive strategic business decisions. Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Analysis: Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Visualization: Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker to visualize complex data for non-technical audiences.
- SQL & Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to retrieve data, perform joins, and manipulate data within relational databases.
- Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical techniques and predictive modeling to forecast trends and support business planning.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present findings and insights to executive leadership and product teams in a clear, actionable manner.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in data collection processes and propose automated solutions to improve data quality.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Strong experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or Google Data Studio.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Tools: Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend) is a plus.
