Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and proactively troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Implement security protocols to protect against cyber threats
- Document network configurations and create technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy network solutions
- Provide Tier-3 support for complex network incidents
- Stay current with emerging networking technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on network administration experience
- CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification required
- Proficiency with Cisco IOS/Juniper Junos
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
