Responsibilities
- Advanced Data Modeling & Analysis: Design and maintain complex data models to support business reporting and predictive analytics.
- Visualization & Reporting: Create interactive, high-performance dashboards using Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- SQL & Data Engineering: Write optimized, complex SQL queries to extract, clean, and transform data from various sources, including relational databases and big data platforms.
- Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical methods to test hypotheses, conduct A/B testing, and drive data-driven recommendations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present technical findings to non-technical audiences in a compelling narrative format, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in current data workflows and implement automation to streamline reporting processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift) and Python or R for data manipulation.
- Tools: Strong hands-on experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and data visualization libraries.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems using logical reasoning and data evidence.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate data into business value.
