Responsibilities
- Lead Data Strategy: Design and maintain complex SQL queries and ETL pipelines to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
- Visualize Insights: Create compelling dashboards in Tableau and Power BI to visualize complex datasets for executive stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct rigorous A/B testing, regression analysis, and cohort analysis to validate product hypotheses and user behavior.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Sales) to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and growth opportunities.
- Data Storytelling: Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable narratives and presentations for non-technical audiences.
- Process Improvement: Identify data quality issues and implement automated solutions to streamline data collection processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python or R. Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery) is a plus.
- Visualization: Strong portfolio demonstrating experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve complex business problems using data.
