Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Modeling: Extract, clean, and transform complex datasets from multiple sources using SQL and Python to ensure high data quality.
- Visual Reporting: Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau or PowerBI to communicate insights to stakeholders effectively.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for business growth.
- Performance Optimization: Collaborate with engineering and product teams to optimize algorithms and improve system performance based on data-driven insights.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex data findings to non-technical audiences in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current data processes and propose automation solutions to increase operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist in the tech industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Advanced), Python or R, and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, or PowerBI).
- Analytics Tools: Strong understanding of statistical analysis methods and A/B testing frameworks.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate data into business value.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and derive logical conclusions.
