Responsibilities
- Perform deep-dive analysis of equity options data to identify market trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, clean, and transform large datasets.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for equity derivatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading and risk management, to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
- Conduct statistical modeling to forecast market movements and assess the impact of various financial instruments.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting systems and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within the financial services or equity options sector.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R for statistical analysis.
- Expert level proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and VBA.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
