Responsibilities
- Develop Core Systems: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for backend services and APIs used in our equity options trading engine.
- Collaborate: Work in an agile environment with cross-functional teams including traders, data scientists, and product managers to define feature requirements.
- Debug & Optimize: Identify and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks in existing systems to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Data Integration: Assist in integrating real-time market data feeds and historical datasets into our analytics dashboards.
- Testing: Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to maintain high software quality standards.
- Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for codebases and system architecture to facilitate team onboarding and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Programming Basics: Solid understanding of programming fundamentals (OOP, Data Structures, Algorithms).
- Language: Proficiency in at least one major programming language such as Python, Java, C++, or C#.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to approach complex problems methodically.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL).
