As a Data Analyst at Metro Tech Innovations, you will serve as the bridge between raw data and strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to uncover insights, build predictive models, and create visually compelling reports that inform our leadership.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and process large sets of data to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
- Perform complex statistical analysis and data modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and implement data pipelines.
- Present findings and insights to executive leadership in a clear, actionable format.
- Optimize existing SQL queries and database structures for faster data retrieval.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Redshift).
- Experience programming in Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
- Strong understanding of A/B testing and experimental design.
