The Role
As a Data Analyst at Apex, you will be the bridge between our data and our business decisions. You will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, creating visualizations, and presenting findings to key stakeholders to drive growth and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries and ETL processes to extract and transform data from various sources.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and PowerBI to monitor KPIs and track business performance.
- Perform deep-dive statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within large datasets.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define data requirements and improve data quality.
- Prepare clear, concise, and actionable reports for executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to increase operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL (Querying, Joins, Stored Procedures) and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools, specifically Tableau or PowerBI.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL pipelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into business insights.
