Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets using PostgreSQL and Snowflake
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Develop statistical models and machine learning algorithms to forecast market trends and customer behavior
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into analytical solutions
- Present findings to leadership through compelling data narratives and storytelling techniques
- Maintain data quality standards through ETL process optimization and validation protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive data analytics experience with SQL and visualization tools
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) or R for statistical analysis
- Advanced knowledge of statistical modeling and experimental design methodologies
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Experience working with healthcare or financial datasets preferred
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate technical insights to strategic recommendations
