Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleansing: Collect, clean, and validate data sets to ensure high-quality inputs for analysis, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Dashboard Creation: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) that provide real-time visibility into key business metrics.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct deep-dive statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business strategy.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create comprehensive reports and executive summaries, translating technical findings into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions to improve workflows.
- Database Management: Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases and data warehouses.
- Trend Forecasting: Monitor market trends and internal performance data to forecast future outcomes and support long-term planning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation.
- Visualization Tools: Expert level experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Tools: Solid working knowledge of Excel (advanced functions, PivotTables) and ETL processes.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and a passion for uncovering the 'why' behind the numbers.
