Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust data models to support business objectives using SQL, Python, and cloud-based tools
- Create compelling data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Conduct ad-hoc statistical analysis and A/B testing to drive product optimization
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve data pipeline efficiency and quality
- Present findings to leadership teams through clear, concise reports and presentations
- Mentor junior analysts and establish best practices for data governance
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging analytics technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of professional data analysis experience with proven track record
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools
- Strong statistical analysis skills and experience with hypothesis testing
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and data warehousing solutions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate complex data for non-technical audiences
- Experience working in remote/hybrid environments with strong self-management
- Portfolio demonstrating data-driven projects and business impact
