Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and patterns
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Create statistical models to forecast key performance indicators and support decision-making
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling data narratives
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous validation and quality control processes
- Lead ad-hoc analysis projects to address emerging business questions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive data analysis experience in government or consulting
- Expert proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python/R)
- Advanced skills in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
- Strong statistical analysis background with experimental design knowledge
- Experience working with public sector datasets and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical insights for non-technical audiences
- Certification in data analytics or related field (e.g., CDA, AWS Data Analytics)
