As a Data Analyst at Nauticus Innovations, you will bridge the gap between technical data and business strategy, ensuring our stakeholders have the information they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to understand business objectives and translate them into data requirements.
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to forecast market trends and customer behavior.
- Present complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines to ensure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of data reporting.
- Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues to ensure reliable reporting outputs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or T-SQL).
- Strong experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and Python or R for data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about data anomalies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
