Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Processing: Extract, clean, and transform large, complex datasets from various sources using SQL, Python, and Excel.
- Statistical Analysis: Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, correlations, and anomalies that impact business performance.
- Visualization: Design and maintain interactive dashboards (Tableau, PowerBI) to present findings to stakeholders in a clear, visual format.
- Reporting: Create comprehensive reports and executive summaries that drive strategic decision-making across departments.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineering teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track their progress.
- Optimization: Identify process inefficiencies and recommend data-driven solutions to improve operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of solving complex business problems using data.
- Tools: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data technologies is a plus.
