Responsibilities
- Design and implement security protocols for equity options trading platforms
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on financial systems
- Monitor and respond to real-time security incidents in financial data centers
- Collaborate with traders and risk analysts to develop security-by-design frameworks
- Lead incident response for trading platform breaches and market manipulation attempts
- Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC, and PCI-DSS cybersecurity standards
- Mentor junior security analysts on financial threat intelligence methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in financial services/derivatives
- CISM, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in options trading systems and market data protocols
- Advanced knowledge of financial threat actors (e.g., APT28, FIN7)
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) for financial workloads
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for financial data protection
- Ability to work under pressure during market volatility and security incidents
