Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response teams during cyber-attacks to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Design and implement robust network security architectures and access control policies.
- Ensure strict compliance with industry standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with software developers to integrate security measures into the DevSecOps pipeline.
- Provide security training and mentorship to junior security analysts.
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent (e.g., CEH, Security+).
- Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or network security.
- Deep understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
- Proficiency with security tools such as Splunk, Azure Sentinel, or Wireshark.
