Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activities and potential intrusions.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security protocols and firewalls.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Lead incident response teams during security breaches and recover systems.
- Collaborate with IT and software development teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network engineering.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network security concepts, encryption, and authentication.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint protection (CrowdStrike).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (if required).
