Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced security architectures to protect enterprise assets.
- Monitor security events across the network and SIEM systems to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct thorough penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to proactively identify weaknesses.
- Oversee incident response protocols, coordinating with IT teams to contain and remediate security breaches.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports.
- Train and mentor junior security analysts on best practices and emerging threats.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar), Firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Check Point), and IDS/IPS.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of encryption standards, network protocols, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to act decisively under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
