Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategies to protect against external and internal threats.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to ensure compliance with NIST and ISO standards.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and incident response frameworks.
- Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to embed security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Oversee the administration of firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN solutions to secure network perimeters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell for automating security tasks.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
