Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust network security architectures including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust solutions
- Lead incident response for security breaches, conducting forensic analysis and mitigation
- Develop and maintain security automation using Python, Ansible, and SIEM tools
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR frameworks
- Mentor junior security engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
Qualifications
- 8+ years of cybersecurity experience with 3+ years in architecture/leadership roles
- Expert knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and security automation
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Demonstrated success in leading security incident response
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
