Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts in real-time.
- Design, implement, and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN solutions.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Develop and maintain Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) policies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices into development workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Experience with Python or Bash scripting for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
