Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy advanced threat detection systems using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across hybrid environments
- Develop zero-trust security frameworks and access control policies
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 standards
- Mentor junior engineers through security awareness training programs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with proven incident response experience
- Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network security architectures
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
- Hands-on experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, CrowdStrike)
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting and documentation
