Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced security architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs, to protect enterprise assets.
- Lead incident response efforts, conducting forensic analysis and coordinating with internal teams to mitigate breaches.
- Oversee the continuous monitoring of SIEM systems and conduct proactive threat hunting to identify vulnerabilities before exploitation.
- Develop and maintain automated playbooks and scripts (Python/Bash) to enhance security operations efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate DevSecOps practices and secure the software development lifecycle.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to validate security controls.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, network security, or systems administration.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and network topology.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for security automation.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container security.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
