Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage complex cybersecurity solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
- Conduct thorough security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential risks within the network.
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, coordinating with legal and IT teams to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2).
- Monitor security alerts and analyze trends to predict and prevent future cyber threats.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices into the DevSecOps lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, encryption standards, and cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with major security tools (Splunk, Palo Alto, FireEye, or similar).
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment with strong communication skills.
