Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to security alerts using SIEM technologies (Splunk, Azure Sentinel).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans to mitigate security breaches effectively.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA, SOC2, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Lead security awareness training programs for employees.
- Perform regular security audits and threat hunting activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network defense.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools (Okta, Azure AD).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (if applicable).
