Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain the organization's security architecture, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption protocols.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential security weaknesses.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage third-party security audits and ensure compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security engineering.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
