Shift: Day Shift
Responsibilities
- Monitor & Detect: Analyze network traffic and system logs in real-time using SIEM tools to identify and mitigate potential threats.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches, ensuring rapid containment and recovery.
- Penetration Testing: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and red team operations to proactively identify weaknesses in our architecture.
- Security Architecture: Design and implement robust security controls, including firewalls, encryption protocols, and access management systems.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR through rigorous auditing and documentation.
- Threat Intelligence: Stay ahead of emerging cyber threats by analyzing global threat intelligence feeds and adapting our defense strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification: Must hold active CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or security operations center (SOC) roles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for automation; deep knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols.
- Tools: Expert level experience with Splunk, FireEye, or similar threat detection platforms.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
