Your Mission
As a Junior Software Engineer, you will support the development and maintenance of our proprietary equity options trading platform. You will bridge the gap between complex financial algorithms and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring our clients can execute trades with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior developers in designing, coding, and testing software modules for our equity options platform.
- Participate in code reviews and debugging sessions to improve system stability and performance.
- Collaborate with the product and finance teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues reported by end-users in the Memphis and Texas markets.
- Contribute to the continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Understanding of basic data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player attitude.
- Willingness to obtain a FINRA Series 7 or 63 license (training provided).
