Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and solutions.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security gaps.
- Lead incident response teams to mitigate breaches and recover systems efficiently.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
- Monitor security systems for suspicious activity and coordinate with external law enforcement when necessary.
- Provide security training and awareness programs for employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity roles.
- Valid certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption standards.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation and threat hunting.
- Demonstrated experience in managing risk and responding to security incidents.
