Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures to protect organizational assets.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents with speed and precision using SIEM tools.
- Develop and execute security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with industry regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO).
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure secure integration of cloud services and on-premise systems.
- Lead security awareness training programs for employees to foster a culture of security.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly.
- Willingness to relocate to San Jose, CA.
