Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security architectures for cloud and on-premise environments.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses before exploitation.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts during active security breaches.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategies and Zero Trust implementations.
- Ensure full compliance with SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR regulations.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar) and log analysis.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for security automation.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (if applicable).
