Responsibilities
- Lead incident response efforts to mitigate security breaches and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Design and enforce robust security policies and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Monitor security systems and SIEM tools to detect and analyze potential threats in real-time.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage identity and access control systems (IAM) to ensure least privilege access.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Active certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GIAC GCIH (Mandatory).
- Strong working knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Experience with network security protocols, firewalls, and encryption standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
