The Role:
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust security framework. You will work closely with development and operations teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide security architecture to protect against cyber threats.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks before exploitation.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts during security breaches, minimizing downtime and data loss.
- Manage and optimize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation and incident response.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions (e.g., Okta, Azure AD).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances.
