Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-grade security architectures for cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across complex IT infrastructures
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/Ansible to enhance operational efficiency
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives across the organization
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps)
- Stay current with emerging threats and contribute to threat intelligence frameworks
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in senior engineering roles
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments
- Hands-on experience with NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and GDPR frameworks
- Proficiency in security automation tools (Terraform, Puppet, Jenkins)
- Demonstrated success in reducing security posture gaps by 40%+
- Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate complex risks to stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
