Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide security architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM systems.
- Conduct advanced penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses before they are exploited.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams to mitigate breaches and restore operations quickly.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with industry regulations (NIST, ISO, GDPR).
- Monitor security alerts and perform threat hunting to detect suspicious activities across the network.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the SDLC.
- Conduct regular security awareness training for staff and manage vendor security compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or GIAC GCIH certification is required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a similar role.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix).
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
