Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM and EDR platforms
- Lead incident response for sophisticated cyber attacks including ransomware and APTs
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments across hybrid cloud infrastructures
- Develop zero-trust architecture solutions for enterprise environments
- Mentor junior security engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Stay current with emerging threats and contribute to threat intelligence programs
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in engineering roles
- CISSP, CEH, or OSCP certification required
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security and cloud-native security controls
- Strong background in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs)
- Experience with threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK framework
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, and security automation tools
- Proven track record of handling high-impact security incidents
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
